In 2008, Quality Bred Boa’s was founded by Cinseray Bruinier and Mischa Oehlen.
It all started as a hobby. Like most of us, I started with a cornsnake. A second one followed
and not too long after, we were surprised to find 8 eggs in a cage that was supposed to contain
2 female snakes. And that’s when the reptile-virus hit me. Hatchlings were raised, sold and
traded, and within 2 years we had a small collection of reptiles, containing Cornsnakes, Boa
constrictors and Ball pythons. Because of this hobby and my study, I came in contact with a
lot of reptile keepers, some more serious than others, and together with my good friend

Mischa Oehlen I started to offer shelter to some unwanted, sick or injured reptiles and we
nursed them back to health. And of course, they stayed,.. and the collection grew bigger. Not
only Corns, Ball pythons and Boa constrictors, but also hognoses, gecko’s, bearded dragons,
Burmese pythons, Dummeril boas and tortoises had found a refuge at our place. But the
Boas remained my favourites, and after a well succeeded attempt of breeding our own Boas
in 2007 we decided to found Quality Bred Boa’s, so other people too can enjoy our quality
bred and well cared for animals.
It took a while to think of a good name, but we decided to use Quality Bred Boa’s because
that’s exactly the goal we’re trying to reach: to breed healthy and strong adult snakes to
produce the best possible quality of young snakes for a fair price, so everybody can enjoy the
reptile hobby.
